Old Nicosia, Cyprus
On the divide between Greek and Turkish Cyprus the scars of the war, even now in the heart of the energetic capital, have left buildings deserted and crumbling.
CHEERS to all the goths, emos and Vikings that made that happen (and the few left that are into travel photography). Much love to you all!
AS A BONUS here is the church in full situ with my rented BMW parked in front of it. (I actually rented a Ford Ka online but due to a fabulous clerical error I was given this when I arrived, big thank you to the staff of Hertz in Bergen.)
'Compulsory office memos' are just like real compulsory office memos except they are not from or to an office and aren't compulsory. They're often not memos either.
Incredible sunset on my way home from work. I always keep the camera handy so drove fast as I could to the nearest hilltop I knew would have a view down to this baby. After taking loads of photographs the sun disappeared behind the horizon and I almost left, but a few minutes later as I was walking away, out the corner of my eye I caught some red sunbeams appear overhead, turned back and saw this last blast of glory.
